In Respect for Ramadan 2019 Celebrities and Govt decided not to host TV Shows

Punjab Assembly passed a resolution by requesting Pakistani celebrities not to host TV shows and requested Islamic Scholars to host such TV shows.
From the beginning, Pakistani showbiz celebrities are the ones hosting Ramadan transmissions. But this year Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), Punjab Assembly and Federal Government take a surprising decision of not to allow drama actors, actresses for Ramazan transmissions.
But, Pakistani actor and TV host Ahsan Khan looks upset with this resolution by Punjab Assembly. He says, we accept that we are not religious scholars but of course as a Muslim its our birth right to question. Its been a long time I am hosting Ramazan transmissions and we know how to do these shows by keeping our limits, we never said anything wrong about Islam or any religious scholar, then why government is interfering in this.
Sanam Baloch shows the utmost respect for Ramadan, she says I won’t be hosting any transmissions of this Ramadan. General public is very much happy with her decision. They wished that all anchors should take a break this Ramadan, so people could focus more on prayers.
On Twitter, Mahira Khan Congratulated Muslims for Ramadan by saying may this month bring blessings for all. Mawra Hocane said Alhamdulillah for Ramadan and expressed as her most favorite month. Wish you all a blessed and peaceful Ramadan-ul-Mubarak.
