The problem with us Pakistanis is
that once we get to experience something good, we want it to continue on until
we get tired of it or find the next best thing. A good example is Hum TV’s
super hit romantic-comedy drama ‘Suno Chanda’ that aired last year in the month
of Ramadan. The show’s well-written script and family drama and humor had
everybody hooked to it instantly from the start. The show became one of the most popular shows last year with fans
demanding Suno Chanda season 2 ever since the show went off air. All of us who
watched Suno Chanda season 1 fell under its spell and if you still haven’t watched
it yet, know that you are missing out on a lot. The persistence of fans must
have finally paid off when Hum TV decided to treat us by announcing the release
of the second season. That’s right, for those of you who still aren’t aware of
this, Suno Chanda 2 is finally here and the only thing better than
this news is that the show airs from Monday to Sunday.
The plot of Suno Chanda season 2 is a
continuation from where things ended in season 1, that is the next day of Arsal
and Ajiya’s wedding. Despite anxiously waiting for the show, I felt as if
though this season lacks the brilliance of the previous season. Things have
started to look up with each passing episode but the humor that had you in
tears while you laughed and the emotional moments that made you cry with the
characters is definitely missing. The show introduces some new characters as
well along with holding on to all the previous ones. However, fans have given
the show a warm welcome because it really does offer refreshing insights after
all the depressing dramas that have been on air this whole year. I hope that
the show’s plot improves with time and surpasses the previous season in terms
of humor and acting.

I think the humor is dragged in the season 2. Also, Arsal and jiya are acting weird. I mean how a decent couple would be this much cheesy?? 😐 But yes! Its still a treat to watch suno Chanda in Ramadan. 👌🤩

I've been anxiously waiting for the show and glad its on air... loving it and agree that the first season was way too natural and had spontaneous humor.
I agree that it's not what we expected but I still hope it improves with every episode.
