Netflix “YOU” Review: Do YOU Have What It Takes?

Netflix “YOU” Review: Do YOU Have What It Takes?

“YOU” being a Netflix original, the season has stolen a million hearts already. It is an American thriller series starring Elizabeth Lail (Beck), Penn Badgley (Joe) and Shay Mitchell (Peach) as the leading characters.
The whole series revolves around the question; what can one do for love? The story starts with a genius book store manager who falls in love with a confused struggling writer, who has surrounded herself with things and people that do not at any point make her truly happy.
So, the madly in love Joe does everything, be it stalking, tapping phones or murders until he is all Beck is left with.
Joe believes in the famous saying ‘Everything is fair in love and war”. So, from a different perspective, the hero in this love story really be a villain. The more we get to know about Joe, the scarier he seems to be, but we also see his past experiences with his master. Although it’s dangerous but sometimes, danger can be as exciting as being in love is.
To be honest as much as the show is thrilling, it is also disturbing at the same time. Many events take place in the first 3,4 episodes, it feels like an eternity.
Though it keeps you hooked up till the end, it starts to freak you out eventually. And why would not it? I mean someone is tapping your phone, keeping your boyfriend in his basement, later killing him and even holding you hostage in the name of love or for the sake of your own safety. It will scare the brains out of any sane lady.
So, watching “YOU” is a must have experience for all.

Loved it !!! I relate well to Joe. The way he thinks about things, examines them, he literally reads people like books from examining their movements, clothes, choices etc
